Adhyaya 8: Yogasthanas, Ashtanga Yoga, Pranayama-Siddhi, and Shiva-Dhyana leading to Samadhi

लब्ध्वासनानि विधिवद् योगसिद्ध्यर्थम् आत्मवित् आदेशकाले योगस्य दर्शनं हि न विद्यते

labdhvāsanāni vidhivad yogasiddhyartham ātmavit ādeśakāle yogasya darśanaṃ hi na vidyate

Ayant établi selon la règle les postures prescrites en vue de la perfection yogique, le connaisseur du Soi comprend qu’au moment de la simple instruction, la vision directe du Yoga n’est pas encore acquise.
