Adhyaya 8: Yogasthanas, Ashtanga Yoga, Pranayama-Siddhi, and Shiva-Dhyana leading to Samadhi

गलादधो वितस्त्या यन् नाभेरुपरि चोत्तमम् योगस्थानमधो नाभेर् आवर्तं मध्यमं भ्रुवोः

galādadho vitastyā yan nābherupari cottamam yogasthānamadho nābher āvartaṃ madhyamaṃ bhruvoḥ

La région située à une empan au-dessous de la gorge et au-dessus du nombril est proclamée comme le siège intérieur suprême. Au-dessous du nombril se trouve la station du yoga ; le tourbillon du nombril est le point médian ; et entre les deux sourcils est aussi indiqué un centre pour la concentration intérieure.
