Adhyaya 72 — Puradāha: Rudra’s Cosmic Chariot, Pāśupata-Vrata, and Brahmā’s Shiva-Stuti

ववन्दिरे नन्दिनमिन्दुभूषणं ववन्दिरे पर्वतराजसंभवाम् ववन्दिरे चाद्रिसुतासुतं प्रभुं ववन्दिरे देवगणा महेश्वरम्

vavandire nandinamindubhūṣaṇaṃ vavandire parvatarājasaṃbhavām vavandire cādrisutāsutaṃ prabhuṃ vavandire devagaṇā maheśvaram

Les cohortes divines se prosternèrent devant Nandin; elles se prosternèrent devant le Seigneur au croissant de lune. Elles se prosternèrent devant Pārvatī, fille du Roi des Montagnes. Et elles se prosternèrent devant le puissant Seigneur, Skanda, fils de la Fille de la Montagne. Ainsi les dieux rendirent hommage à Maheśvara.
