Diti’s Puṁsavana Vow, Indra’s Intervention, and the Birth of the Maruts
so ’haṁ tvayārcito bhadre īdṛg-bhāvena bhaktitaḥ taṁ te sampādaye kāmam asatīnāṁ sudurlabham
This verse shows that sincere worship done with the right inner mood (bhāva) can bring about the fulfillment of one’s desire, as the worshiped authority agrees to “accomplish” the result.
Indra, approaching Diti in disguise, acknowledges her worship and vow, and promises to fulfill her wish—part of the unfolding episode where her determination and purity are being observed and tested.
Keep commitments and spiritual practices with sincerity and inner integrity; the Bhagavatam emphasizes that results depend not only on actions but on the purity of intention and devotional attitude.
