Sukta 3
सं गच्छस्व पितृभिः सं यमेनेष्टापूर्तेन परमे व्योऽमन्। हित्वावद्यं पुनरस्तमेहि सं गच्छतां तन्वाऽ सुवर्चाः
sáṃ gácchasva pitṛ́bhiḥ sáṃ yaméneṣṭāpū́rtena paramé vyòman | hitvā́vadyáṃ púnar ástam éhi sáṃ gácchatāṃ tanvā̀ suvárcāḥ ||
Go thou in union with the Fathers, in union with Yama, with iṣṭa and pūrta, in the highest heaven. Leaving behind all blemish, come again unto thy home of rest: let the radiant self go forth in concord.
Va en union avec les Pères, en union avec Yama, avec iṣṭa et pūrta, dans le plus haut ciel. Laissant derrière toi toute souillure, reviens à ta demeure de repos ; que le Soi rayonnant (le corps) s’avance en concorde.
