ये नः पितुः पितरो ये पितामहा य आविविशुरुर्व१न्तरिक्षम्। तेभ्यः स्वराडसुनीतिर्नो अद्य वथावशं तन्वः कल्पयाति
yé naḥ pitúḥ pitáraḥ yé pitāmahā́ yá āvivíśur urvàṃ antárikṣam | tébhyaḥ svarā́ḍ ásunītir no adyá vathāváśaṃ tanvàḥ kalpayāti
Those Fathers of our father, those grandsires, who have passed and entered the broad mid-air—unto them the self-ruling Life-guidance, even to-day, disposeth for our bodies a state not subject to the compulsion of the road.
Ces Pères de notre père, ces aïeux, qui sont partis et sont entrés dans le vaste espace intermédiaire—à eux la Conduite de Vie, souveraine d’elle-même, dispose aujourd’hui pour nos corps un état non soumis à la contrainte de la route.
