Agni Purana, Chapter 259: Yajur-vidhāna

कन्याकामो घृताक्तानि युग्मशो ग्रथितानि तु जातीपुष्पाणि जुहुयाद्ग्रामार्थी तिलतण्डुलान्

kanyākāmo ghṛtāktāni yugmaśo grathitāni tu jātīpuṣpāṇi juhuyādgrāmārthī tilataṇḍulān

Celui qui désire une jeune fille (pour épouse) doit offrir au feu des fleurs de jāti (jasmin), enduites de ghee et enfilées par paires; et celui qui recherche un village (établissement ou don de terre) doit offrir du sésame et des grains de riz.
