Chapter 68 — यात्रोत्सवविधिकथनं

Account of the Procedure for the Processional Festival / Yātrā-Utsava Vidhi

दर्पणं दर्श्य नीराजं गीतवाद्यैश् च मङ्गलं व्यजनं पूजनं दीपं गन्धपुष्पादिभिर्यजेत्

darpaṇaṃ darśya nīrājaṃ gītavādyaiś ca maṅgalaṃ vyajanaṃ pūjanaṃ dīpaṃ gandhapuṣpādibhiryajet

Après avoir montré le miroir, on doit accomplir le nīrājana (balancement rituel des lumières) et les rites de bon augure accompagnés de chants et de musique instrumentale; ensuite on offrira l’éventail sacré (chāmara), l’adoration rituelle et la lampe, et l’on vénérera avec parfums, fleurs et autres offrandes semblables.
