Après avoir placé (accompli le nyāsa de) la syllabe ‘ya’—dont la divinité présidente est le Soleil—dans le lotus du cœur, soixante-douze mille (nāḍī, canaux/flux subtils) jaillissent du cœur.

Sandhi Resolution Notes: Sandhi resolved: हृदयादभिनिःसृताः → हृदयात् + अभिनिःसृताः. dvāsaptatisahasrāṇi is analyzed as द्वासप्तति (numeral) + सहस्राणि.
Related Themes: Agni Purana 59 (hr̥daya-dhyāna and nyāsa sequence); Agni Purana yoga/prāṇa-related passages elsewhere in ritual sections
It teaches hṛdaya-padma nyāsa: installing the seed-syllable ‘ya’ in the heart-lotus with Sūrya as the presiding deity, as part of mantra-visualization used in pūjā and internal worship.
Alongside myth and dharma, it preserves practical ritual-technology—nyāsa, deity-assignment to syllables, and subtle-body mapping (the 72,000 nāḍīs)—showing the text’s coverage of yoga-tantra style procedures.
By centering awareness in the heart-lotus and sanctifying it through Sūrya-linked mantra-nyāsa, the practitioner is taught inner purification and energized prāṇic flow, supporting steadiness in worship and meditative clarity.
