Related Themes: Agni Purana 59 (yantra/maṇḍala and nyāsa progression)
It teaches mantra-nyāsa and dhyāna: placing the bīja ‘ma’ endowed with sixteen kalās, and meditating on the central bindu as Agni’s maṇḍala.
Beyond myth, the Agni Purāṇa functions as a practical ritual handbook, preserving precise procedures for bīja-placement (nyāsa) and maṇḍala-visualization used in pūjā and tantric upāsanā.
Centering awareness on Agni’s bindu is a purification-focused upāsanā: it concentrates the mind, sacralizes the ritual space, and is traditionally held to burn impurities and support mantra-siddhi.
