उद्द्योतं कुरुते सूर्यो यादृक्तस्याभिसंमतः । यज्ञभागं विनाऽप्येष भयात्पार्थिवसत्तम
uddyotaṃ kurute sūryo yādṛktasyābhisaṃmataḥ | yajñabhāgaṃ vinā'pyeṣa bhayātpārthivasattama
Oh, el mejor de los reyes: incluso Sūrya derrama su luz sólo en la medida que aquél aprueba; y por temor, continúa su oficio aun sin recibir su porción del yajña.
