सौदास उवाच । आराधिता द्विजा विप्र भवंति सुगतिप्रदाः । असन्तुष्टा दुर्गतिदाः सद्यो मम यथा पुरा
saudāsa uvāca | ārādhitā dvijā vipra bhavaṃti sugatipradāḥ | asantuṣṭā durgatidāḥ sadyo mama yathā purā
Saudāsa dijo: «Oh brāhmaṇa, cuando los nacidos dos veces son debidamente honrados, se vuelven otorgadores de un buen destino. Cuando están descontentos, se vuelven dadores de infortunio, tal como me sucedió antaño, de inmediato».
