कौतुकाद्वद मे राजन्स्वकार्ये च यथास्थितम् । कैर्विना सुगतिर्नास्ति दुर्गतिं के नयंति च

Transliteration

kautukādvada me rājansvakārye ca yathāsthitam | kairvinā sugatirnāsti durgatiṃ ke nayaṃti ca

Translation

«Por curiosidad, oh rey, dime con claridad cómo están las cosas en tu propio asunto: ¿sin quién no hay buen destino (sugati), y quiénes son los que empujan hacia la desgracia (durgati)?»
