saumyarkṣe somavāreṇa saumye māsi ca saṃsthite | tithau ca somadevatye prāpte somagrahe tathā | sakāraiḥ paṃcabhiryukte kāle somasya maṃdiram
Cuando la mansión lunar es benéfica, en lunes (Somavāra), en un mes propicio, en una tithi presidida por Soma, y cuando también el planeta de Soma está en ascenso—en un tiempo señalado por cinco factores de ‘sa’—debe establecerse el templo de Soma.
