शर्मणष्ठीवनं यस्मात्तया स्वपितुराहितम् । शर्मिष्ठेति सुविख्याता ततः सा ह्यभवद्भुवि

śarmaṇaṣṭhīvanaṃ yasmāttayā svapiturāhitam | śarmiṣṭheti suvikhyātā tataḥ sā hyabhavadbhuvi

Porque puso un escupitajo (ṭhīvana) sobre el bienestar (śarma) de su propio padre, se hizo célebre en la tierra con el nombre de “Śarmiṣṭhā”.
