अथ तौ चरणौ तस्य तप्त शापोदकप्लुतौ । दग्धौ कृष्णत्वमापन्नौ तत्क्षणाद्द्विजसत्तमाः
atha tau caraṇau tasya tapta śāpodakaplutau | dagdhau kṛṣṇatvamāpannau tatkṣaṇāddvijasattamāḥ
Entonces sus dos pies, empapados por el agua ardiente destinada a la maldición, quedaron abrasados y al instante se tornaron negros, oh el mejor de los dos veces nacidos.
