प्रजगाम द्विजश्रेष्ठाः शून्येन मनसा तदा । प्रतिभाति तदा गीतं तस्या मधुरमप्यहो
prajagāma dvijaśreṣṭhāḥ śūnyena manasā tadā | pratibhāti tadā gītaṃ tasyā madhuramapyaho
Oh, los mejores entre los dos veces nacidos, ella prosiguió entonces con la mente vacía. Aun su canto—por dulce que fuese—parecía en ese momento distinto, extrañamente alterado.
