जनासो अग्निं दधिरे सहोवृधं हविष्मन्तो विधेम ते । स त्वं नो अद्य सुमना इहाविता भवा वाजेषु सन्त्य ॥
jánāso agníṃ dadhire saho-vṛ́dhaṃ havíṣmanto vidhema te | sá tvaṃ no adyá su-mánā ihā́vitā bhavā vājéṣu santya ||
Los hombres han establecido a Agni, acrecentador de poder, trayendo ofrendas; para ti cumplimos la obra del culto. Así, hoy sé para nosotros de mente benévola: aquí sé nuestro auxiliador, oh Agni, en las plenitudes de fuerza que han de ganarse (vāja).
