नि षू नमातिमतिं कयस्य चित्तेजिष्ठाभिररणिभिर्नोतिभिरुग्राभिरुग्रोतिभिः । नेषि णो यथा पुरानेनाः शूर मन्यसे । विश्वानि पूरोरप पर्षि वह्निरासा वह्निर्नो अच्छ ॥
ní ṣū namā́timatiṁ káyasya cit téjiṣṭhābhir araṇíbhiḥ nótibhir ugrā́bhir ugrótibhiḥ | néṣi ṇo yáthā purā́nenāḥ śūra mányase | víśvāni pūrórapa párṣi váhni r āsā́ váhni r no áccha ||
Abate, en verdad, la mente que desmesura, sea de quien sea, con tus encendidos más agudos y con tus ayudas feroces y poderosas. Guíanos como por el camino antiguo, oh Héroe, según tú lo sabes. Aparta de Pūru todas las fuerzas hostiles; oh Portador de la llama, ven: sé la Llama que viene hacia nosotros.
