Sumitra’s Consolation to Kausalya
नार्हा त्वं शोचितुं देवि यस्यास्ते राघवस्सुतः।न हि रामात्परो लोके विद्यते सत्पथे स्थितः।।।।
nārhā tvaṃ śocituṃ devi yasyās te rāghavas sutaḥ | na hi rāmāt paro loke vidyate satpathe sthitaḥ ||
No es propio de ti lamentarte, oh reina, pues tienes por hijo a Rāma, vástago de los Raghu. En este mundo no hay nadie superior a Rāma, firme en el sendero del dharma.
O Kausalya, with a son like Rama, you should not grieve. There is none in this world superior to Rama who stands steady in the path of virtue.
