kintu cittaṃ manuṣyāṇām anityam iti me matiḥ | satāṃ ca dharma-nityānāṃ kṛtaśobhi ca rāghava || 2.4.27 ||

FAQs

Because human intention can shift, dharma should be secured through timely, transparent action and firm commitment to truth and duty.

Daśaratha explains why he urges haste: not from distrust of Bharata alone, but from awareness that even good people can be swayed by changing conditions.

Daśaratha’s realism and caution—recognizing psychological instability and seeking to protect dharmic order against uncertainty.
