The Exposition of the Krishna Mantra (Kṛṣṇa-mantra-prakāśa): Nyāsa, Dhyāna, Worship, Yantra, and Prayoga
Sanatkumara (teaching Narada)
Vrata: none
Primary Rasa: shanta
Secondary Rasa: bhakti
It emphasizes disciplined adherence to vidhi (prescribed procedure): spiritual efficacy in tarpana and other rites depends on selecting proper materials and following the taught method rather than improvisation.
While primarily ritual-technical, it supports bhakti by insisting that offerings meant to honor and satisfy divine beings and ancestors should be performed correctly and sincerely, aligning intention with proper sacred method.
Ritual praxis (kalpa-style procedural discipline) is highlighted: choosing appropriate dravya and applying the correct vidhi for kāmya rites and tarpana.
