स्मृत्यर्थकर्मणि तथा करोतेः प्रतियत्नके । हिंसार्थानां प्रयोगे च कृतिकर्मणि कर्तरि ॥ १६ ॥
smṛtyarthakarmaṇi tathā karoteḥ pratiyatnake | hiṃsārthānāṃ prayoge ca kṛtikarmaṇi kartari || 16 ||
Asimismo, cuando una acción se realiza con el fin de recordar (smṛty-artha), y cuando el verbo √kṛ “hacer” implica esfuerzo deliberado; y en el uso de expresiones que significan daño; y en acciones producidas por la empresa intencional del agente—se entiende que el agente (kartṛ) es el soporte, el sujeto de la acción.
