The Narration of the Trayodaśī Vow Observed Throughout the Twelve Months
गुरुं समर्च्य वस्त्राद्यैः प्रतिमां तां निवेदयेत् । द्विजेभ्यो दक्षणां शक्त्या दत्वा नत्वा विसृज्य च ॥ ८२ ॥
guruṃ samarcya vastrādyaiḥ pratimāṃ tāṃ nivedayet | dvijebhyo dakṣaṇāṃ śaktyā datvā natvā visṛjya ca || 82 ||
Habiendo venerado debidamente al Gurú con vestiduras y otras ofrendas, preséntese esa imagen sagrada (pratimā). Tras dar, según la propia capacidad, la dakṣiṇā a los dvija, inclínese uno en reverencia y concluya el rito despidiéndolos respetuosamente.
