वाचके परितुष्टे तु शुभा प्रीतिरनुत्तमा । ब्राह्मणेषु तु तुष्टेषु प्रसन्ना: सर्वदेवता:
vācake parituṣṭe tu śubhā prītir anuttamā | brāhmaṇeṣu tu tuṣṭeṣu prasannāḥ sarvadevatāḥ ||
Dijo Vaiśampāyana: «Cuando el recitador del relato sagrado queda satisfecho, surge una alegría y un afecto supremos y auspiciosos. Y cuando los brāhmaṇas están complacidos, todos los dioses se muestran propicios con el oyente.»
