न किंचिद् विदुरात्मानमयमस्मीति भारत । भारत! उस रात्रिके समय जब वह भयंकर कोलाहलपूर्ण संग्राम चल रहा था
na kiñcid vidur ātmānam ayam asmīti bhārata |
Dijo Sañjaya: Oh Bhārata, en aquella noche, mientras la terrible batalla rugía en medio del tumulto, los guerreros no podían distinguir nada con claridad. En la confusión ni siquiera se reconocían a sí mismos, incapaces de saber: «Yo soy esta persona».
