Seeing him within the inner chambers of the maidens’ palace, sporting there together with Uṣā, the guards went at once and reported the matter to the Daitya king.
Sage Parāśara (narrating to Maitreya)
Vishnu Form: Krishna
Bhakti Type: Madhurya
Vyuha Form: Aniruddha
It is the immediate narrative trigger that brings the private union in the palace into the public sphere of royal authority, setting up the Daitya king’s response and the ensuing confrontation.
By a tight sequence—discovery, recognition, and report—Parāśara shows how a single breach of palace boundaries rapidly becomes a political crisis under a sovereign’s rule.
Though Vishnu is not named in the verse, the episode belongs to the broader Vaishnava narrative current in which such conflicts ultimately highlight the supremacy of Vishnu (often through Krishna’s intervention) over Daitya power and worldly sovereignty.
