Shloka 6

शरद्वर्णनं, योगोपमा, तथा गोवर्धन-यज्ञप्रवर्तनम्

कुमुदैः शरदम्भांसि योग्यतालक्षणं ययुः अवबोधैर् मनांसीव संबन्धम् अमलात्मनाम्

kumudaiḥ śaradambhāṃsi yogyatālakṣaṇaṃ yayuḥ avabodhair manāṃsīva saṃbandham amalātmanām

By the blooming white lotuses, the autumnal waters attained the very mark of fitness and clarity; so too, by the rise of true understanding, minds enter into pure communion with the stainless-souled.

Concept: As autumn waters become clear and ‘fit’ through the blooming kumuda, so the mind becomes fit for pure communion (saṃbandha) with the stainless through awakening of true understanding.

Vedantic Theme: Moksha

Application: Strengthen clarity (sattva) via japa, śāstra-study, and sāttvika conduct; seek the company of the pure (satsaṅga) so the mind naturally attunes to them and to Bhagavān.

Vishishtadvaita: Saṃbandha is central: the jīva’s real relation is to the pure Lord and His devotees; knowledge is relational and culminates in loving communion rather than impersonal absorption.
