Worship of Vishnu through Varṇa-dharma
bhaumān manorathān svargaṃ svargavandyaṃ tathāspadam prāpnoty ārādhite viṣṇau nirvāṇam api cottamam
When Viṣṇu is truly worshipped, one attains the fulfillment of earthly desires, heaven, and even that exalted station revered by the dwellers of heaven—and beyond these, the supreme nirvāṇa itself.

Vedantic Theme: Moksha
Vishnu Form: Narayana

This verse presents Vishnu-worship as uniquely complete: it grants worldly aims, heavenly attainments, and ultimately the highest liberation (nirvāṇa).
Parāśara frames them as a graded sequence: devotion to Vishnu can fulfill legitimate earthly and heavenly aspirations, yet it culminates in the supreme end—nirvāṇa.
Vishnu is portrayed as the sovereign bestower of all results, including mokṣa, implying His status as the Supreme Reality and final refuge beyond even svarga.
