Worship of Vishnu through Varṇa-dharma
यद् यद् इच्छति यावच् च फलम् आराधिते ऽच्युते तत् तद् आप्नोति राजेन्द्र भूरि स्वल्पम् अथापि वा
yad yad icchati yāvac ca phalam ārādhite 'cyute tat tad āpnoti rājendra bhūri svalpam athāpi vā
Whatever a person longs for, and whatever result he seeks—when the Imperishable Acyuta is worshipped, O best of kings, that very fruit he attains, whether it be vast or only slight.
Sage Parāśara (teaching within the Parāśara–Maitreya dialogue; the vocative 'rājendra' evokes the archetypal royal addressee used in Purāṇic instruction)

Vishnu Form: Hari
Bhakti Type: Dasya
This verse presents Vishnu (Acyuta) as the dependable sovereign of karmic outcomes: sincere worship connects the devotee to the Lord who can bestow the sought result, whether worldly or higher.
Parāśara frames worship as efficacious and proportionate to intention—whatever fruit is intended, that fruit is obtained—highlighting Vishnu’s lordship over both abundance and limitation.
Vishnu is portrayed as the supreme, unfailing reality (Acyuta) whose grace governs attainment; devotion is not merely ritual but a relationship to the ultimate source of all results.
