तस्यां हि गोमतीस्नानं द्विषङ्गोदावरीफलम् । अवगाहिता प्रयत्नेन सिंहांते गौतमी सकृत्
tasyāṃ hi gomatīsnānaṃ dviṣaṅgodāvarīphalam | avagāhitā prayatnena siṃhāṃte gautamī sakṛt
On that occasion, bathing in the Gomatī yields the fruit of twice the famed merit of the Godāvarī. Whoever, with effort, bathes even once in the Gautamī at the close of Siṃha (Leo) attains that same result.
