वरं वरय भद्रं ते नित्यं यो मनसि स्थितः । तं ते सर्वं प्रदास्यामि यद्यपि स्यात्सुदुर्लभम्
varaṃ varaya bhadraṃ te nityaṃ yo manasi sthitaḥ | taṃ te sarvaṃ pradāsyāmi yadyapi syātsudurlabham
Choose a boon—may auspiciousness be yours—whatever abides constantly in your mind. I shall grant you all of that, even if it be exceedingly hard to obtain.
Indra
Tirtha: Arbuda/Arbudācala (contextual)
Type: kshetra
Scene: Indra, now humbled, offers a boon with open palm; a subtle aura surrounds both; Mudgala stands poised to choose, serene and inwardly focused; the sky brightens, suggesting divine favor.
Divine powers are secondary to inner aspiration; what one holds in the mind reveals one’s true goal.
Indirectly supports the Māmuhrada Tīrtha narrative by setting up the sage’s request connected to liberation and tīrtha fame.
No ritual is specified in this verse.
