Skanda Purana — Prabhasa Khanda, Shloka 31

ततो हृष्टमना भूत्वा गृहीत्वा तां चतुर्मुखः । पुनर्वर्षसहस्रांते भूमिपृष्ठमुपागतः । दर्शयामास तां विष्णोरेषा लिंगस्य मूर्धतः

Transliteration

tato hṛṣṭamanā bhūtvā gṛhītvā tāṃ caturmukhaḥ | punarvarṣasahasrāṃte bhūmipṛṣṭhamupāgataḥ | darśayāmāsa tāṃ viṣṇoreṣā liṃgasya mūrdhataḥ

Translation

Then four-faced Brahmā, pleased at heart, took that flower and, after a thousand years, returned to the surface of the earth. He showed it to Viṣṇu, saying, “This is from the top of the liṅga.”
