मन्नाम्ना ख्यातिमायातु नान्यत्किंचिद्वृणोम्यहम् । ततः सोऽपि प्रतिज्ञाय आरूढस्तस्य चोपरि । प्रणम्य पितरौ चैव प्रतस्थे मुनिना सह
mannāmnā khyātimāyātu nānyatkiṃcidvṛṇomyaham | tataḥ so'pi pratijñāya ārūḍhastasya copari | praṇamya pitarau caiva pratasthe muninā saha
“Let renown come by my name; I ask for nothing else.” Then he too, having promised, mounted upon him. Having bowed to his parents as well, he set out together with the sage.
