ततः स्वभावकालाभ्यां स्वरूपाभ्यां समीरितम् । ईक्षणेनैव प्रकृतेर्महत्तत्त्वमजायत
tataḥ svabhāvakālābhyāṃ svarūpābhyāṃ samīritam | īkṣaṇenaiva prakṛtermahattattvamajāyata
“Then, stirred by its own inherent nature and by Time—both operating according to their proper forms—through mere ‘glancing’ (intentional awareness), from Prakṛti arose the principle of Mahat (cosmic intelligence).”
