tatrasthitopi saṃsiddhayai yatasva sahito gaṇaiḥ | nirvighnaṃ kuru cāsmākaṃ nṛpe vighnaṃ samācara
“Even while staying there, strive for the successful accomplishment of the purpose, together with your gaṇas. Make our work free of obstacles—and, for that king, bring about obstacles.”
Śiva (Mahādeva) (instructional imperatives addressed to Gaṇeśa)
Tirtha: Kāśī (Avimukta)
Type: kshetra
Scene: Śiva instructs Gaṇeśa: strive for siddhi with the gaṇas, make ‘our work’ obstacle-free, and create obstacles for a certain king—depicting the dual power of vighna.
Obstacles serve dharma: the divine removes hindrances for righteous aims and restrains harmful power through impediments.
Kāśī, as the operational sacred arena where divine governance is enacted.
None directly; the verse describes Gaṇeśa’s functional role regarding vighna (obstacles).
