The wise practitioner should consecrate and place the mantra-power upon both hands with the seed-mantra of Aghora; and upon the belly he should place the mantra woven with the fifteen syllables, using the Vāmadeva mantra.

Tattva Level: pati
Shiva Form: Aghoramūrti
Mantra: Aghora-bīja-mantra (explicitly referenced; exact bīja not quoted in the verse). Vāmadeva-mantra with a ‘fifteen-syllabled’ formulation (pañcadaśākṣa-grathitā) is referenced but not fully quoted.
Type: panchakshara
Role: nurturing
It teaches mantra-nyāsa—sanctifying the body as a fit vessel for Śiva’s presence—so worship becomes inward (antaryāga) as well as outward, aligning the practitioner with Śiva’s protective and purifying power.
Nyāsa prepares the worshipper to approach the Śiva-liṅga with purity and steadiness; by invoking Aghora and Vāmadeva aspects, the devotee honors Saguna Śiva’s compassionate, protective forms while aiming toward inner realization.
Perform kara-nyāsa (placing mantra on the hands) with the Aghora bīja, and aṅga/udara-nyāsa (placing mantra on the abdomen) with a fifteen-syllabled formulation linked with Vāmadeva—done as part of Śiva-pūjā and japa preparation.
