भस्म–रुद्राक्ष–शिवनाममाहात्म्य
The Greatness of Bhasma, Rudrākṣa, and the Name of Śiva
तथा काचिद्द्विजायोषा सौ मुने बहुपापिनी । शिवनामप्रभावेण लेभे सद्गतिमुत्तमाम्

Sthala Purana: Not tied to a jyotirliṅga; it universalizes the prior exemplum by extending grace to a socially ordinary figure (a dvijāyoṣā), underscoring nāma’s accessibility beyond status.
Significance: Reinforces that Śiva’s saving power is not restricted by gender or social role; nāma is an open upāya for all pāśus.

It declares the saving potency of Śiva’s Name: even a person weighed down by heavy sin can, through sincere remembrance/japa of the Name, receive Śiva’s grace and attain the highest spiritual destiny.
The verse highlights nāma-bhakti (devotion through the Name), a core Saguna practice: one may worship Śiva as the Linga or as the personal Lord, and the Name serves as a direct, accessible means to connect with Him and receive anugraha (grace).
Regular japa of Śiva’s Name—especially the Panchākṣarī mantra “Om Namaḥ Śivāya”—with repentance, steadiness, and devotion, as a practical discipline for purification and liberation.
