Having bowed in reverence, he should then formally dismiss the invoked presence from that sacred circle—even from the fire itself. Thereafter, all the officiants who sit in the assembly, being worthy recipients of worship, should be honoured in due order.

It teaches that Shaiva worship must be completed with reverence and closure: the invoked sacred presence is respectfully released, and gratitude is expressed by honouring those who upheld the rite—reflecting dharma, humility, and disciplined bhakti.
In Saguna Shiva worship, the deity is invoked into a prepared locus (mandala, fire, linga). This verse emphasizes udvāsana—formally concluding that invocation—so the puja remains complete, orderly, and aligned with traditional Shaiva ritual integrity.
Perform udvāsana after offerings: bow, request completion, and ritually dismiss the presence from the mandala and fire; then honour the officiants in sequence (dakṣiṇā/anna/vastra as appropriate), maintaining a calm, grateful mind.
