Bringing it here into this nirmālya-maṇḍala—the sacred enclosure of consecrated remnants—just as was done formerly, one should worship Lord Īśāna (Śiva) and offer oblations into the Śiva-fire.
Suta Goswami
Tattva Level: pati
Shiva Form: Īśāna
Offering: dhupa
It emphasizes disciplined, tradition-aligned worship: what is offered and sanctified (nirmālya) is handled within a sacred boundary, and devotion is completed through both pūjā and homa—outer acts that support inner purity and God-centeredness in Shaiva Siddhanta.
By naming Īśāna and prescribing pūjā and offerings, the verse points to Saguna Shiva worship—approaching Shiva through consecrated forms, ritual order, and sacred space, which culminate in grace (anugraha) that leads the devotee toward liberation.
Perform Shiva-pūjā within a sanctified space and follow it with Śiva-homa (offerings into a fire dedicated to Shiva), maintaining purity of offerings (nirmālya) and continuity with established ritual tradition.
