Umāyāḥ Kriyāyoga-Rahasya
The Esoteric Teaching on Umā’s Kriyāyoga
मोदते पुत्रपौत्राद्यैर्धनाद्यैरिह सन्ततम् । सोऽन्ते गच्छेदुमालोकं सर्वलोकोपरि स्थितम्
modate putrapautrādyairdhanādyairiha santatam | so'nte gacchedumālokaṃ sarvalokopari sthitam
Here, such a person continually rejoices in sons, grandsons, and the like, and in wealth and other prosperities; and at life’s end he attains Umā’s world, which stands above all the worlds.
Suta Goswami
Tattva Level: pashu
Shiva Form: Umāpati
Sthala Purana: General phala statement: prosperity in progeny and wealth here, and ascent to Umā-loka beyond all worlds at death.
Significance: Reinforces the Purāṇic model where dharmic prosperity is not opposed to liberation, but is subordinated to final divine ascent through grace.
Shakti Form: Umā
Role: nurturing
It presents a phala-śruti: devotion aligned with Śaiva dharma yields both worldly flourishing (family and prosperity) and a higher posthumous attainment—Umā’s exalted realm—signifying grace and upliftment beyond ordinary karmic destinations.
Umā-loka is associated with the divine household of Śiva-Śakti (saguṇa reality). The verse supports the Purāṇic theme that reverent worship of Śiva together with Umā (often through Liṅga-pūjā) grants well-being here and a superior realm hereafter.
While not naming a specific rite, the context of Umāsaṃhitā commonly implies steady Śiva-bhakti—regular Liṅga-pūjā, japa of the Pañcākṣarī ("Om Namaḥ Śivāya"), and observances like bhasma/Tripuṇḍra and rudrākṣa as supportive disciplines.
