Having reflected thus, the great chariot-warrior mounted the mighty chariot, urged on by the charioteer, and swiftly went to the place where the Consort of Mahādeva—whose youthful radiance had been prayed for by the celestial maidens—was present.

The verse highlights purposeful movement guided by discernment—after reflection, action is taken toward Uma, the embodied Śakti of Maheśvara, indicating that grace and spiritual fruition arise when intention is aligned with devotion to Shiva and his divine power.
Uma (Maheśvarāṅganā) represents Saguna Shiva’s inseparable Śakti; approaching her presence is, in Shaiva Siddhanta terms, approaching Pati with reverence for his manifest power—supporting devotional worship where Shiva is adored with form along with Shakti.
The implied practice is viveka (reflective discernment) followed by directed devotion—such as mentally offering a resolved prayer with the Panchakshara (Om Namaḥ Śivāya) before undertaking worship or pilgrimage toward Shiva’s sacred presence.
