Śatānīka, Nirāmitra, Vṛṣasena, Jayadratha, Bhūridyumna, and Suvarcārcis—these ten are declared to be the sons of Manu.

By listing Manu’s sons, the text anchors Shaiva teaching within a dharmic lineage—showing how social order and righteous rule (dharma) support the soul’s gradual purification toward Shiva’s grace (anugraha).
Though genealogical, it situates worldly governance under dharma, which in Shaiva Siddhanta is sustained by devotion to Saguna Shiva (Linga-worship) as the Lord who upholds cosmic order and grants liberation beyond it.
The practical takeaway is dharma-aligned living supported by daily Shiva upasana—recitation of the Panchakshara (Om Namaḥ Śivāya) and simple Linga worship—so that one’s lineage, duties, and inner life remain oriented to Pati (Shiva).
