Description of the Supreme State / One’s True Attainment
दारयेद्यन्महीं कृत्स्नां शोषयेद्यन्महोदधिम् । पातयेदखिलं ज्योतिश्चक्रं यन्नात्र संशयः
dārayedyanmahīṃ kṛtsnāṃ śoṣayedyanmahodadhim | pātayedakhilaṃ jyotiścakraṃ yannātra saṃśayaḥ
That power can cleave the whole earth, dry up the great ocean, and make the entire wheel of the luminaries fall—of this there is no doubt.
Suta Goswami
Tattva Level: pati
Shiva Form: Mahādeva
Cosmic Event: Implied pralaya-capacity: power sufficient to rend earth, dry oceans, and fell the luminaries (cosmic dissolution potential).
It proclaims the absolute supremacy of Pati (Lord Shiva): the One whose śakti can uphold or dissolve the cosmos. For the devotee, it redirects fear of worldly forces toward refuge in Shiva as the final ground of reality.
Such cosmic sovereignty is contemplated through Saguna worship—especially the Shiva-linga—where the infinite Lord is approached in a stable, worshipable form, enabling bhakti and inner absorption while acknowledging His transcendence beyond all luminaries.
Meditate on Shiva as the source and dissolver of the “jyotiś-cakra,” and steady the mind with japa of the Panchakshara (Om Namaḥ Śivāya), supported by Shaiva marks like bhasma (Tripuṇḍra) as reminders of impermanence and liberation.
