Protocol of Tapas, Mantra-Japa, and Śiva-Dhyāna
देवा हर्षं परम्प्रापुः पुष्पवृष्टिं च चक्रिरे । जयपूर्व स्तुतिकराः प्रणम्य च पुनःपुनः

The gods were filled with supreme joy. They showered flowers in reverence and, first crying “Victory!”, they offered hymns of praise—bowing down again and again.
Suta Goswami (narrating the events to the sages of Naimisharanya)
Tattva Level: pati
Shiva Form: Mahādeva
It highlights bhakti as spontaneous reverence: inner joy manifests outwardly through stuti (praise), flower-offering, and repeated pranama—signs of surrender to Shiva’s grace and glory.
The acts described—praise, “jaya” acclamation, and पुष्पवृष्टि—mirror standard Saguna Shiva/Linga worship (archana and stotra), where devotion is expressed through offerings and repeated salutations to the Lord present for devotees.
A simple takeaway is stotra-japa with repeated pranama: chant Shiva-stuti (or the Panchakshara, “Om Namah Shivaya”), offer flowers, and bow repeatedly with focused remembrance of Shiva.
