Then we realized that we had forgotten your father. Now we are allotting you your rightful share—accept it, without any doubt.

It highlights dharmic correction: when one recognizes negligence (forgetting what is due), one should restore what is rightful. In Shaiva Siddhanta, this echoes the movement from forgetfulness (avidyā) to right recognition and responsible action aligned with Pati (Shiva).
The verse’s mood of ‘accept without doubt’ parallels śraddhā in Saguna Shiva worship—approaching the Linga with trust, rectifying omissions, and offering what is due (naivedya, arghya, or vows) as an act of surrender.
A practical takeaway is prāyaścitta through Shiva-upāsanā: renew remembrance with japa of the Panchakshara (“Om Namaḥ Śivāya”) and make a sincere offering (water, bilva leaves, or bhasma/Tripuṇḍra application) with the resolve to remove doubt and negligence.
