It highlights that honoring a Śiva-connected sage (a bearer of Śaṅkara’s śakti) with sincere hospitality and devotion becomes a channel for Śiva’s anugraha (grace), yielding blessings aligned with dharma and one’s spiritual upliftment.
In Śaiva tradition, serving Śiva’s devotees is treated as service to Saguna Śiva Himself; such devotion complements Liṅga worship by expressing reverence to the living presence of Śiva’s grace in His followers.
Practice bhakti through atithi-sevā (reverent hospitality) to Śiva-bhaktas, along with remembrance of Śiva—such as japa of the Pañcākṣarī mantra “Om Namaḥ Śivāya”—as a simple, daily discipline supporting purity and receptivity to grace.
