Shiva Form: Vīrabhadra
Role: teaching
It points to a Shaiva understanding of divine tejas: Shiva’s power can manifest as a calm, auspicious light that is not reducible to physical sources like the sun or fire, indicating a transcendental (yet perceivable) grace.
Like the Linga—an emblem where the Infinite is approached through a sacred form—Vīrabhadra’s golden, gentle radiance is a Saguna revelation that guides devotees to recognize Shiva’s presence beyond ordinary material causation.
Dhyana on Shiva’s auspicious inner light while reciting the Panchakshara mantra (Om Namaḥ Śivāya), supported by Tripuṇḍra (bhasma) and Rudrाक्षa as reminders that Shiva’s purity transcends elemental fire and solar glare.
