FAQs

It declares Shiva (Pati) as the ever-worshipful Lord for all jivas and teaches that steadfast devotion to Maheśvara culminates in paramā mukti—liberation granted by Shiva’s grace.

The verse affirms Shiva as the universal object of upāsanā; in practice, devotees approach Him through Saguna forms—especially the Śiva-liṅga—while realizing that the same Maheśvara bestows liberation beyond form.

A direct takeaway is regular bhajana/upāsanā of Shiva—such as japa of the Panchākṣarī mantra (Om Namaḥ Śivāya), liṅga-pūjā with bhasma and bilva, and focused remembrance of Maheśvara as the giver of moksha.
