It highlights the instantaneous potency of smṛti (devotional remembrance): even cosmic principles like the Yajñas respond when the mind turns to the Divine, showing that inner devotion can move outer ritual power.
In Shaiva Siddhānta, ritual (yajña) is perfected by right orientation to the Lord; likewise, Linga-worship becomes living and effective when supported by focused remembrance and devotion, not mere external performance.
Practice steady smaraṇa (remembrance) alongside worship—mentally reciting a chosen divine name/mantra during pūjā—so that the inner act of devotion energizes the outer rite.
